What Customers Say About Kodak High Definition 400 Speed 24 Exposure Film (3-Pack):

I have a film SLR I hate to lose and move to digital. I have been using this film for about 2 years and it never ceases to amaze me. I use this film and direct to CD developing to create some really stunning prints.
I have had this blown up to 36 inch by 24 inch and it is still great. Ever since Kodak stopped making their Royal Gold film, this has been my film of choice. I just hope they keep making it.
The color is much better than Kodak Max 400 speed and the pictures are much clearer.
Note that in some situations bright subjects will result in cartoonish colors which seem to bleed into each other. Overall the quality of prints made from this film are pretty darn sharp, even on cloudy days. Considering that Kodak UC400 is now available in various common department stores for about 2 dollars more, I'm ditching HD for the far less grainy professional UC line of film. Does anyone here remember Kodak Royal Gold. Well this film is the same thing, just re-packaged in a spiffy new "HD" box. The grain is minimal as far as amateur based film is concerned, and in my opinion it outperforms Fuji Superia X-tra 400.
This film has great color reproduction and performance. I would give this film 5 stars except for the fact that Fujifilm Superia X-TRA 400 provides similar performance for a cheaper price.
